Immunity belongs to the Cell Press group of journals, but it is editorially independent from the other Cell Press journals. Immunity publishes 12 issues a year. All papers published by Immunity are freely available one year after publication.

Immunity provides substantial new insight into the function of the immune system, with priority given to studies that offer in-depth mechanistic understanding in original and physiologically relevant observations.
